The NAP Entry tab is used to transfer the costable content and structure of an existing National Action Plan into the tool. It is not intended for writing the full plan or reproducing all narrative text. Before using this tab, the plan should already be developed and sufficiently agreed for costing.
Enter the main sections, objectives, actions, sub-actions, outputs, or other planning elements that should be costed. Use the same wording, order, and level structure as the plan document where practical. This helps ensure that costing results can be traced back to the original plan.
Each row represents one plan element. Assign each row to the correct plan level so the tool understands how the plan is organized. Level 1 is used for the main plan sections or major components. Lower levels are used for more detailed elements, such as objectives, actions, sub-actions, outputs, or activities.
The sequence number is generated automatically. It helps show where each item sits in the plan and supports later costing, summaries, and dashboards.
If the tool allows section names for Level 1 items, use short, clear names that will make the later costing sections easy to recognize. For example, a Level 1 item on awareness could use the section name "Awareness". Keep names concise and avoid special characters if the tool indicates restrictions.
The AI NAP Entry Help feature can support this step by helping identify relevant plan sections, objectives, actions, and other costable elements from an uploaded plan document. These suggestions should be reviewed carefully against the original plan before they are used in the tool.
Before moving on, review the entered plan carefully. In particular, check that:
After the plan content has been checked, continue to the next step to create or update the costing sections. The costing sections will use the plan content entered here, so mistakes in wording, levels, or sequencing may affect how costs, dashboards, and summaries are organized.
